    The top storage compartment of traditional wheel balancers features dense small grids that cannot accommodate long strip balance weights, and tools often slip off easily during operation. To solve this common pain point, we have redesigned the top cover structure of the wheel balancer, upgrading the original dense multi-grid layout to a low-grid, single-large-space layout. This article elaborates on the professional design logic behind this iteration.
    The old multi-grid design was only tailored for storing small accessories such as hook-type balance weights and balance pliers. However, with the updated maintenance demands of modern auto repair workshops, commonly used supplies including 60g adhesive balance weights, degreasers, and dedicated balancing tools cannot be placed flat in these small grids. Workers have to stack tools randomly, resulting in inconvenient access and severely reduced overall working efficiency.
    The newly optimized low-grid layout greatly expands the single storage space, allowing all kinds of tools and counterweights of different sizes to be placed neatly and accessed smoothly. Meanwhile, the upgraded top cover adopts a larger integral forming area, which ensures uniform force distribution. This structural improvement significantly enhances the equipment’s shock resistance, compression resistance and impact durability.
    In short, this structural adjustment is not a reduction in configuration, but a targeted practical upgrade based on current wheel dynamic balancing working scenarios. It comprehensively optimizes the equipment in three core dimensions: storage rationality, construction efficiency and service durability.
